The rum initially spends 5 years ageing in the Caribbean, before continuing its maturation in Jerez, Spain – 3 years in Palo Cortado sherry casks, followed by a further 2 years in casks that previously held 20-year-old Don Guido Pedro Ximénez sherry. This brings the total ageing period to 10 years, with each stage contributing its own nuances and depth.

In the glass, Dos Maderas 5+5 10 YO displays a rich, deep colour. Its aroma is complex and captivating, with notes of dried fruits, honey, caramel and subtle woody accents.
