The advantage of this granulate lies in its functionality: it is able to store 300 times its own volume of water and release it again when required. It retains this ability for several years, while other humidifiers work very limited in time.
Our granulate differs from others in its chemical composition as it is a cross-linked copolymer based on potassium salt. Other humidification systems are based on sodium and are, too, able to store moisture, but cannot release it.
